Paul Philpott MA FRAS is a rural development specialist. He has nearly 30 years' experience of designing, implementing and managing environmental and rural development programmes throughout Central Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and Eastern and Western Europe. Paul is a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society. In 1993, Paul established the first Save the Children Fund relief and development programme in Kyrgyzstan. Over the last 16 years it has grown into a trans-regional programme reaching numerous communities.
